A few days ago I was swimming laps doing the usual stroke I do when there are several people in the pool - free style. I learned to swim at a late age and that's the stroke I find the easiest in a crowded pool. In the next lane, there was a gentleman and a young woman who is developmentally disabled. I have been in the pool with her many times and have seen her work at the Y as a life guard. I'll call her Amy. She is like a seal in the water. |
